Wednesday, May 22 – 7:30 pm, SHOP-Sweet Hour of Prayer for those able to join us for an evening of prayer.
Thursday, May 23 - Adult Bible studies are led by Pastor Simeon every second Thursday at the church at 2:00 pm. You are invited to join us this week.
Sunday, May 26 – A short meeting for the women of VAC right after the morning service to appoint two gals to our WM 2013 Nominating Committee.
ALSO, Picnic at the Church following the morning’s service on the 26th.
Sunday, May 26 – 3-5 pm, ‘Jack & Jill Come & Go’ wedding shower for Christa Scott and Chris Milne, both of Virden. Gifts preferred unwrapped and please bring your favorite RECIPE for the couple! VAC Women’s Ministries will be collecting for a monetary gift for the couple. Donations can be given to Marion Gray.
Thursday, May 30 – 7-9 p.m., Service Project calling families of Virden Alliance to a Cleaning Bee at the Church! We are inviting you to come together for a 2 hour church cleaning bee followed by a visit to Ice Cream Island!
Summer Services at VAC
Sunday, June 2 – Promotion Sunday! A special time of Celebration & Promotion of students during our Sunday School hour.
Sunday, June 9 – Church Picnic Sunday! All are invited to come together for an 11:00 A.M. service and picnic at the Oak Lake Picnic Area. A wonderful opportunity to invite friends to join us for a casual, outdoor worship experience!
Sunday, June 16 – Father’s Day Sunday! A special service honoring the dads among us. We will also be honoring our 2013 Graduates this Sunday!
Please note that there will be no Sunday School for the months of June through to September 8th. However, Pastor Simeon will be offering a course of studies as per requests of the class, for any interested adults and Sr. High Youth at 10 A.M. each Sunday throughout the summer months.
Summer Worship Hour will begin at 11:00 A.M. as usual.
